St. Lucia Estuary in North East KZN South Africa is an interesting destination.

St. Lucia KZN South Africa is an interesting place with lots to do and plenty to see.  Check out these options

The early morning beach walks that I take with Petrus Viviers and his dog , a bitch called Parrdette  always surprises me with Beautiful sunrises and strange stuff washed up during the night.

The blue cheeked bee eaters are getting ready to leave for warmer areas, and the yellow billed kites have already left for the winter.

The St. Lucia estuary mouth area is a rather hot birding spot and the African Skimmers  seem to have left ..  a few weeks back we also had a crab plover,...

During recent weeks there has also been a #PalmNutVulture hanging around that has zupprised a few folks with rather pleasant poses on the northern bank of the open mouth.

At spring tide low water there are also many gulls, turns and plovers on the Southern banks of the estuary with Mapelane in the back ground.

Fanas tours  which runs the Fannas boat offering special boat trips to view bippos crocks and birding  offers interesting options to enjoy the wild life along the St. Lucia estuary banks

Uodate : 27 Jan 2023 St. Lucia estuary

Greetings to all who read here. It is Saturday 27 Jan 2023 and I am in St. Lucia KZN South Africa. I am busy with the 4u2fish project which has an internet presence  Where 4u2fish is used as a domain name issue as well as a campaign specific hashtag which works together with the #Frankie2Socks HASH TAG  WORKS TOGETHER WITH OTHER ONLINE MARKETING TACTICS.

Yours Truly (Frankie2Socks) was at the beach again this morning, well before the sun stuck its nose over the horizon.  My self and Petrus Bier from s from  Bier pens tv are on the beach every day before sunrise.  This is where Petrus gets his YouTube clips from. if you watch the channel you will hear Petrus mention me every know and then. So just to put all my readers, subscribers, and fans in the right thinking mode, I ask you all to talk about the 4u2fish campaign, and what its impact should be on the DOMESTIC TOURISM MARKET.   this has many sides to the story and, we as the public need to stand up for our rights, the collective community rights and the rights of them creatures who have no voice or say in how mankind is changing the water flow issues and related biodiversity losses within the Greater St. Lucia wetlands Park, which is now managed and governed by the iSimangaliso Wetland Park or the  IWPA

Our area which has had many names over the years is vastly open spaces that fall into the nature conservation zones, with some human  habitat and agricultural use including commercial forestry, harvesting and resales of natural renewable resources including but not restricted to

  • fish
  • prawns
  • crabs
  • thatching reads
  • Ncema grass
  • Ikhwane  (Bull Rushes) leaves not flowers or seeds
  • ILala Palm tree leaves and Njemane beer
So Tourism and fishing-related matters have been the corner stone of the Umkhanyakude district municipality for many years. In the years before the 4X4 Ban fishing was really active hear in St. Lucia and at one stage there were many fishing tackle outlets and both the Dolphin supermarket and Spar (St. Lucia)  The 4x4ban closed many tourism businesses here along the Elephant Coast.  This blog supports and gets a commission on any sales through the HEJJU sub pages at frankie2socks.hejju.com and we will be actively promoting these pages and our related online marketing assets like  facebook.com/4u2fish

the biggest issue for us at the 4u2fish management team is the fact that tourism associated with fishing is being ignored by the St. Lucia Torusim folks, and this needs to change and change rather seriously, coz the lake systems are TOTALLY FUCKED... EFF You SEE KAY EEE DEEEE all in capital letters and Underlined in RED     so we gotta get the lake and estuary system dunctiional again, and do theis soon.  tourism numbers are qdwindling and we gotta do some thinng to save jobs, and bring others back into existand. take a #PeepSee her and help us by taking a break, and booking through the platform found here
the IWPA will soon be starting their Public Participation process and to stay abreast of these issues see our FB PAGE at feacebook.com/4u2fish
